I Can Be Calm

These used to be new shoes.

This is one way to test your mother’s ability to not scream.

 

And here’s a perfect example of a time I remained calm in the face of great tribulation. These are Grant’s shoes. They’re less than a month old. He couldn’t locate them for school the other day. Not to worry, though. G found them that evening when he ran over the shoes with the lawnmower.

Sure, one could put their new shoes in the closet. But isn’t it more fun to hide them in the tall grass?
